2. Movable anchor bolts, also known as long anchor bolts, are detachable anchor bolts used to secure heavy machinery that experiences strong vibration and impact.

3. Expansion anchor bolts are often used to secure stationary simple equipment or auxiliary equipment. The installation of expansion anchor bolts should meet the following requirements: the distance from the bolt center to the edge of the foundation should not be less than 7 times the diameter of the expansion anchor bolt; the foundation strength for installing the expansion anchor bolt should not be less than 10 MPa; there should be no cracks at the drill hole, and care should be taken to prevent the drill bit from colliding with the reinforcing steel or embedded pipes in the foundation; the drill hole diameter and depth should be matched with the expansion anchor bolt. 4. Adhesive anchor bolts are a commonly used type of anchor bolt in recent years. The method and requirements are the same as for expansion anchor bolts. However, when adhesive bonding, care should be taken to blow out any debris from the hole and to prevent it from getting damp.

DIN 931-style half-thread and DIN 933-style full-thread hex bolts should not be selected from diameter and overall length alone. The practical choice depends on the joint stack, required grip, location of the thread transition, available nut engagement, mating hardware, material or property requirement, coating system and governing product specification. A half-thread bolt is not automatically […]

What Should Buyers Verify When Comparing Bolt Manufacturers?

A bolt manufacturer should be evaluated against a defined joint, drawing and acceptance plan—not a product list or unit price alone. Buyers need to verify whether the supplier can manufacture the required geometry, control material and heat-treatment requirements where applicable, manage threads and coatings as one dimensional system, inspect critical characteristics, preserve batch traceability and […]
